The Newtown Juggling Club is the oldest juggling club in NSW; it has been running for over twelve years.
Historical Highlights
The club was formed by Sid and Zoe around 1993.
Julie looked after the club while Sid and Zoe were overseas.
Sid returned in late 1995, and ran it until he handed the reins to Julian in 1996.
Julian has been running it ever since, with the assistance of D.J.
Unfortunately, due to the inability to negotiate insurance, the club had a short hiatus during February and March 2004, before returning in April 2004 - with insurance!
Sydney Juggling Convention
Sid and Maxim organised the 1997 Sydney Juggling Mini-Convention at the same site.
In January 2004, January 2005 and January 2006, Mark Douglass organised the Sydney Juggling Convention, also at the same site.
Danni and Dale organised the January 2007 and January 2008 conventions at the SCEGGS school. They are also organising the 2009 convention at a new location.
