What To Expect...

Sydney’s premier juggling club provides a great environment to learn new tricks, practice skills, rehearse acts, pass, play games, chat or just sip a coffee and take it all in.

Sometimes newcomers expect a formal instructor-led class (like an aerobics class). It is far more casual than that. Drop in whenever you can make it.

If you are a beginner, we can get you started, in a low-pressure environment. If already you have the basics, there are plenty of experts to take you to the next stage, or new props to try.

Balls, clubs and unicycles are our staple props; there are always plenty around.

However, it is not unusual to see rings, diabolos, devil sticks, pois, stilts, rola-bolas, balancing, magic, acro-balancing, staff twirling and club twirling.

When you’re comfortable with clubs, join in the chaotic game of Combat. There are only two rules!

  1. The last person juggling wins.
  2. No high kicks.

Be sure to leave time afterwards to join us at the café for a quiet meal and loud laughs.

The Newtown Jugglers is run by volunteers who take no profits from the club. Although we meet in a church hall, we are not affiliated with any religious group.
