&lt;p&gt;I suspect those Matrix screen savers with code tumbling down the screen are inspired by the opposite effect to your tank game where a C64 program overruns program memory into screen memory...  that certainly happened to more than a few of my C64 assembler experiments.&lt;/p&gt;
