ArticlesJust a quick note to explain that I have finally got all the pieces in place to upgrade OddThinking to WordPress 2.1.1.
Please keep any eye out for any odd foibles that I have missed during testing.
I have already noticed the blogroll on the left has been replaced with a category list. I’ll probably work out how to drop the category list, but I might not bring back the blogroll. I am starting reconsider their value, especially as it gets out of date.
Email subscriptions are temporary out of service – I expect they will be back shortly. Again, I am starting to reconsider their value, and will consider retiring them.
Another WordPress idea – I need a cover page that says “This blog is undergoing maintenance; come back later.” during the upgrade period. That couldn’t be a plug-in; it needs to be built-in.
