Further funding will be required to work out the impact of the Internet non-nerd:nerd quotient versus the impact of any drop in annual sales of polyhedral dice :-) Some more data points for you: The time between me hearing of Gary Gygax's death and thinking "Oh no, this is going to trigger so many puns": 13.5 seconds. The time between my realisation and the first bad joke hitting my inbox: 238.3 seconds. I’m just reporting the data.
