I need to spend some time in Medline to test a new hypothesis of mine.

Do you think that a combination of heavy metal poisoning from a combination of Gold, Silver and Copper (and other metals), introduced through the water-supply, could have a psychotropic effect?

In particular, could it cause hallucinations and have an anti-depressant effect?

I think I can nail down, once and for all, the true origins of the old tradition of tossing coins into a well to have your wishes come true!
