This is the 500th post of OddThinking.<\/p>\n
Sometimes big numbers like these are difficult to grasp, so I like to put them into perspective.<\/p>\n
If each post was fit on one page of a book, I would have a book with 500 pages in it.<\/p>\n
If each post was represented by a perfect cube, 1km on each side, and then stacked on top of each other, it would make a tower 500km high!<\/p>\n
If each post was compressed down into a 10 bytes, it would take less than 5 KB to represent all of these posts and I would be using one hell of a compression algorithm.<\/p>\n
If you hopped on a train travelling from Sydney to Perth, and started reading out every second word of every post, by the time you made it to the Nullarbor Plain, no-one would be sitting next to you.<\/p>\n
