Many are features that are unlikely to be used much. These changes are largely about making me feel more pure (read that as &#8220;more purist&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>The big (internal) changes reflect my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.somethinkodd.com\/oddthinking\/2006\/01\/01\/wordpress-versus-rss-versus-bloglines\/\">improved understanding of auto-detection of feeds<\/a>. You can now auto-detect per-article comment feeds, category feeds and even feeds on keyword searches. Just think: you can subscribe to only articles where I mention <a href=\"http:\/\/oddthinking.somethinkodd.com\/index.php?s=Klondike\">Klondike<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Three items I am still not happy with about: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No WordPress support yet for ATOM 1.0<\/li>\n<li>I use a non-standard (but conventional) MIME type for RSS<\/li>\n<li>Some RSS aggregators (e.g. FireFox) show a long list of identical feeds due to the many feed formats offered. I plan to kill some of these formats in the future, as the winning feed format becomes clearer (and support for it grows).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;ve also taken a step further towards adhering to proper &#8220;Outlines&#8221; (i.e. using &lt;H1&gt;, &lt;H2&gt;, &lt;H3&gt;, etc. tags properly). You&#8217;ll notice the &#8220;Current Articles&#8221; banner across the top. That&#8217;s part of this.
